John P Swart

John P. Swart “Jack” Swart graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University where he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi honorary society and named the Outstanding Senior in the College of Business Administration. He was also a member of tennis team. He received his law degree from the University of Tennessee and was a member of The Order of the Coif. He practiced for several years in his hometown of Wilmington before moving to Jacksonville. He became associated with the firm in 1995. He has been active in local and state bar associations including the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the Military Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. He has been a Board member, Secretary and President of the Jacksonville Noon Rotary Club. His practice is concentrated in the fields of personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial litigation and real estate.
